Uttara Bank announces dividend

Uttara Bank PLC, listed on the capital market, has declared a dividend for the financial year ended December 31, 2024. The bank will pay 35 percent dividend to shareholders for the year in question. Out of this, 17.50 percent is cash dividend and the remaining 17.50 percent is bonus.

The decision regarding the dividend was taken after reviewing and approving the audited financial report of the latest financial year at the meeting of the bank’s board of directors held on Tuesday (March 18).

The bank’s consolidated earnings per share (Consolidated EPS) including income from associates in the last year was 5 taka 79 paisa, which was 3 taka 84 paisa in the previous year.

The bank’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) as of December 31, 2024 was 32 taka 7 paisa.

The bank’s annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on May 12 through a digital platform. The record date for this is set for April 20.
