LafargeHolcim announces final dividend

LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC has declared a final dividend for its shareholders. The company will pay a final dividend of 19% to its shareholders. All of this will be in cash.

The decision to declare the dividend was taken after reviewing and approving the audited financial statements of the last financial year at the company’s board of directors meeting held on Wednesday (March 12).

This information was revealed by company sources.

Earlier, on October 21 last year, LafargeHolcim had declared a 19% interim dividend for its shareholders, which has already been distributed. The company declared a total of 38% cash dividend including the interim dividend for the outgoing financial year.

According to sources, Lafarge’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for the financial year ended December 31, 2024 was 3 taka 29 paisa. In the previous financial year EPS was 5 taka and 12 paisa.

As of December 31, 2024, the company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) was 16 taka and 1 paisa.

The company’s annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on May 8 at 3 pm on the digital platform. The record date for this has been set for April 9.
